Soft & Solution seeks to expand its staff with a Junior Database Administrator, collaborative, willing to acquire new knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build high-availability and high-quality database systems depending on the specialized role of each end user;

• Design and implement the database in accordance with the information needs and views of the end users;
• Define users and enable distribution of data to the right user, in the right format and at the right time;
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data;
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses;
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users;
• Define, implement and document database policies, procedures and standards;
• Conduct regular tests and assessments to ensure data security, privacy and integrity;
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply patches and new versions when required.

Minimum qualifications

• To have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Economic Informatics, Information Technology or similar fields
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
